FINAL PROJECT!!

"MY BACKBONE"

My art piece was a screen print, I chose to do this because I love being able to show my work in public and what better way than to wear it.

I used Black ink, an exacto knife, and a paper and pencil. my favorite thing about my piece it the actual medium its one of my favorite to work with. If I could change anything it would be the color of the ink to a white.

I used shape and contrast in my artwork because those are basic in the eyes of screen printing.I was partially inspired by Da Vinci and his drawings of the human body and they have always interested me.The project is the size of a medium t-shirt. I felt wonderful about this piece and would do it all over again if i could.

First Sketch

Sketch and Starting to Paint White Coat

More Painting

FINAL PRODUCT
I relay enjoyed this project, it was fun to brainstorm and actually do it. It brought my two favorite things together: Music, and Art.
My favorite part of this project was actually painting it on the record, I've never done anything lie that before so it was a awesome experience
My least favorite part was trying to find a song to use because it just was vary different to try to put the lyrics into  visual representation, but, all in all I loved this project and definitively would do it again

Chalk Pastel Landscape

"Once in a Blue-Moon"

This is the Landscape I decided to do for this project

I put in the basic background and part of a building and part of the moon

more color for the moon and buildings being worked on

Details being put into the buildings

finished product

This project was also one of my favorites, i was able to use a media that I have never worked with, and let alone made a landscape with.
My favorite part of the piece is my landscape choice. I loved my choice because I tend to draw things that don't exist or are far from reality so this particular landscape was better fit for my style as apposed to a realistic one.
My least favorite part of this project was the actual media we used.. i prefer to have everything sketched out before i color but this called for us to start in color with a media I've never used it was irritating but manageable.

Finished product

In reflection, this was a very fun yet complicated project. I enjoy the thought of being able to draw at this skill level. The hardest thing about this project was the perspective. It was just difficult to get the feel of the piece as a whole until you have it all drawn out in front of you. My favorite part of this piece was the value. I loved the use of value I used it this particular way it, to me, shows it in a very surreal way.
